The Garden has an extensive collection of rare tropical plants including: cycads, flowering trees and vines over 83-acres, with the world’s greatest living collection of palms. Dedicated to exploring, explaining and conserving, Fairchild Gardens includes a museum, labs, learning center, gift shop, two cafes and research facilities.

The Wings of the Tropics exhibit is home to hundreds of spectacular exotic butterflies year-round surrounded by orchids and tropical plants in a special enclosed area. Butterflies are released twice daily. Another area, shows the process of nurturing and metamorphosis of butterfly chrysalis as they emerge to take flight into the exhibit.

Offering community events featuring: International Mango Festival , Bird Festival, Orchid Shows, International Chocolate Festival, Fall Garden Festival, concerts and art events, and many educational programs for all ages, from K-12th grade to graduate students in horticulture, gardening, photography and art classes.

HOURS: Daily 9:30am-4:30pm. (except Christmas Day)

ADMISSION: Adult (18yrs+) $25; Seniors (65+) $18; Child (6-17) $12; Fairchild Members or Child (5&under) Free.
Admission includes: all the collections and exhibits, narrated tram tour, guided tours, and public events taking place.
