Zoo Miami and the American Association of Zookeepers presents “Savage”, an art show where all paintings are made by Zoo Miami animals. This is your chance to own a true original. Free admission 7-11 pm at the Bakehouse Art Complex, 561 NW 32 Street, Wynwood 33127. Meet the Childrens’ Zoo animals, food trucks, live artists, live band, D.J., silent auction and raffle. All proceeds go toward funding conservation projects.
6:15 pm-8:30 am Bring your family and experience the 9th Annual Big Cat-Nap Campout! Pitch your tent in one of our own “grasslands” for a real camping experience. Pack up your camping gear and head on over to experience a night of wilderness, complete with sound effects (provided by Zoo animals)! Experience a “walk on the wild side” as you explore the Zoo at night on a behind-the-scenes tour! Wild Nights are available for adults and children age six and older and include a pizza dinner.

Do you enjoy water sports? Now you can enjoy the animals and the water at Zoo Miami! Ride the pedal boats, water tricycles and kayaks on the lake at Amazon and Beyond. Hours of operation: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Days of operation: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Minimum rental time – 30 minutes
The Zoo Miami Hippo Slide is back by popular demand. Ride it wet or dry and have a great time! The slide is located at the Wings of Asia Aviary tent pad.
The Safari Photo Club (SPC) is open to photographers at all levels who will be given exclusive opportunities to be in the zoo either before or after the zoo’s normal operating hours depending on the season. A guide will accompany SPC members at all times. To participate in the SPC you must be a ZSF member and SPC fees are in addition to the ZSF membership fee.
